About Me
Writer, Creator, Sustainability and Natural Building Expert
Morgan H Caraway
Morgan was an only child who showed signs of unusual creativity from a young age. His first artistic love was drawing, but over the course of his life, his interests expanded to include music, writing, game design, and sustainable living.
In 2007, he and his illustrious wife, Mary Jane, moved to Big Sur, California, where they began exploring sustainable living and natural building techniques. This marked the beginning of a journey that would inspire much of Morgan's later work, including his books on earthbag construction and ecological awareness.
In 2009, they moved onto land in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. While homesteading, they built an earthbag roundhouse and began practicing off-grid living. This experience deepened Morgan's commitment to sustainability and informed his writing and creative projects.
Today, Morgan is seeking new ways forward for society as a whole. This pursuit has led to the writing of his most recent books, Loveism and After Civilization. He has nearly completed his book Daemon: Creativity, Madness, and Religion, which explores the connections between mental illness and creativity, and he hopes to publish it soon.
